  Naruto:Hashirama's Wood Style Jutsu- Why is it so Unique? Hashirama Senju is easily one of the strongest characters in Naruto because of his    ability to use Wood Style Jutsu and Sage mode.  As the reincarnation of Asura Otsusuki,Hashirama Senju inherited the Wood Style Jutsu and later became known as the 'God of Shinobi'.
